Retail Garden Centre Sales Associate

Position Overview:
Looking for an Exceptional Customer Service and Sales Ability Team Member.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing garden products

  • Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions regarding gardening techniques, plant care, and product recommendations

  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions and handle cash handling responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed

  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail sales preferred

  • Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written

  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is beneficial

  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor and manage inventory
