Retail Garden Centre Sales Associate
Position Overview:
Looking for an Exceptional Customer Service and Sales Ability Team Member.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting and purchasing garden products
Provide excellent customer service and answer any questions regarding gardening techniques, plant care, and product recommendations
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions and handle cash handling responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed
Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service or retail sales preferred
Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms is beneficial
Excellent organizational skills to maintain a tidy sales floor and manage inventory
Heavy Lifting
Working in all weather conditions/seasons
